Location

The village of Braithwaite is two and a half miles from Keswick just off the A66. Howe View sits on what is locally known as the “top road” it has a magnificent outlook over the village and its sports fields. You also have a spectacular panoramic view of the whole valley, from the Skiddaw range to the north to Keswick in the east and across to Walla Crag and the Helvellyn range and the beginning of the Borrowdale Valley to the south east.

From the M6 motorway: Take Junction 41 (Penrith) and head on the A66 towards Keswick and West Cumbria. Go past the first turning for Keswick and straight over the roundabout. After three miles you will see signs for Braithwaite village and Whinlatter.

Take the first turn into Braithwaite and continue on this road until you see The Royal Oak straight in front of you at this point prepare to take the second right turn, (which is quite sharp and narrow) you are now on the top road. All the properties are on the left hand side of the road, after 75 metres look for the Howe View entrance.

There is private parking beside the house.
